Headless Corpses!

On Monday, just before thirty infant school children arrived at The Gables to plant trees, Jeremy found a headless squirrel at the back of the house near the bird feeder.  He quickly shovelled it out and into a deep ditch across the lane.  This morning I found a second headless corpse as I was putting bird seed into the feeder and standing nearby was Mabel, expecting a pat on the head.  Quick, Jeremy, get out the shovel.         (If you are that way inclined you can enlarge the photos by clicking on the image!)
