Time to “prettify” around The Barn

For the past two days, parcels of plants have been arriving in large cardboard boxes – Camellias, clematis and David Austen roses. This afternoon, whilst I was out, Jeremy planted two climbing and two rambling roses and two clematis on the roadside wall of the barn.  When I returned from shopping I helped to take two pot bound rhododendrons out of their wooden half barrel pots.  We dug holes and put them on the poly tunnel side of the barn to improve the view from the bedroom at the back of the barn. And after a cold, wet start to the day the evening was glorious and the sky was “pretty in pink”.
