All around The Gables there is an abundance of bird life from brightly coloured goldfinches, which flock to the bird feeders, to buzzards and even a red kite that has begun to roost in the copse at the far end of the field. Although I try to capture them on the iPad the photographs are often blurred. I will try to use Jeremy’s camera to photograph some of them over the course of the next week or so. In the meantime these rather poor quality photos will have to suffice.
Do not forget to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch on 30 -31 January. It helps the RSPB monitor the health of our gardens as habitats for native birds.
