The puddles have puddles on them and the ground is sodden, muddy and slippery. Pity the poor people in the north of the country trying to dry out shops and homes whilst the rain keeps falling.

Oh my, same here too, very friendly mud in these parts, and like you, can’t imagine how the people who have floods are feeling, we are very lucky to be ‘just very muddy’.
