Sam and Richard arrived just as I was taking the quiches out of the oven.  We ate one each, warm from the rack, then we set off to see if they could recognise April the goose or she them.  We think we have it sorted but the gander and three geese are so bonded that it is difficult to tell which one (April) joined the little flock last. Sam handed me a card and package as an Xmas gift and inside was a beautiful linen tea towel with a picture of……a goose.  Thank you so much and thank you for letting us care for April.  We all hope that she and the other two geese will manage to produce some goslings in the spring.
