Today we are trying to deal with the storm damage including refelting the shed roof and lifting the apple tree to save it from falling over.  Chris attached ropes to the tractor and the tree and, as he moved slowly forward, I steadied the branches.  He will now build a support on which the tree can rest and we will hope to pick cooking apples again next year.
