We were delighted to meet a young couple who came to visit us this afternoon.  None of us had met before but we know some of their family and we were pleased to show them around and send them home with fresh artichokes and chili peppers.They also walked across the road to buy some cooking apples from our neighbour who leaves the apples and an “honesty box” in the front of her house.
