Last year the fruits split and fell onto the ground whilst they were green.  This year the fruit is whole and still on the tree but I can’t believe that they will turn into golden apricots.  And in the paddock the cows and calves rub their hides against the bark of all of the tree trunks eager to eat the leaves and branches which, thankfully, are just out of reach.
