A Victorian Magistrates Court, three holding cells, a prisoner’s toilet and covered exercise yard comprise the downstairs of the St Neots Museum. Staffed by volunteers, with a part time curator, they have managed to create a perfect sized exhibition of an old style small town magistrates court and prison.
Upstairs a history of the town through the ages includes the skeleton of St Neot, stolen by the people of Eynesbury from Cornwall as they wanted some religious relics for their newly established Priory built here in 974!

Thank you for telling us about this, I didn’t know it existed, this will be something to remember for when our grand children are a little older.
