The gardener has filled the kitchen with garden produce and more is on its way because it must, apparently, be eaten or the lettuces will bolt, the broccolI will bloom and the cabbage will pass its peak. As a sweetener to the one who must wash and prepare endless greens the gardener has cut and arranged a bouquet of flowers that he has grown.
