Jeremy is “topping the thistles” in the field and the cows and calves are taking a great interest in the machine parked in their field. The calves are growing and still causing their mothers great irritation when they push through the electric fencing and run around out of reach of Lucy and Beattie. Of course they return to their mothers ( like most children) when they are hungry.
