I was cutting the lawn with my basic B and Q petrol mower when I stopped for a glass of lemonade. When I restarted the mower it fired up and then the engine kept on dying. Hmmmmm? I checked the oil level and the air filter and unscrewed the petrol cap. All looked fine to me. Ian the carpenter came over to have a look and I read through the mower manual. Then Jeremy came to check it out. Finally, after telling Jeremy that “of course there was enough petrol in the tank” he persuaded me to top up the mower and………of course it is running smoothly again.
