On our Wednesday walk we trod alongside fields of ripening barley.

The footpath then led us into a field of wheat in which stray oats were growing.

As we turned into Chapel Lane we met with Doug,who lives next door to the tiny Chapel belonging to the Ancient Baptist Sect. He kindly invited us in to see the building with its modest, unadorned pews and simple pulpit.
