Cabbage Satay, monster rhubarb and broccoli kugels

Cabbages have grown brilliantly in the polytunnel and Jeremy picked one of them this morning and reminded me of a dish I used to make ……cabbage with peanut and cheese sauce. Somewhat calorific but the cabbage must be good for us! Three stalks of glaskins perpetual rhubarb was more than enough for a rhubarb crumble which we will eat tonight and tomorrow. Sadly I had to buy someone else’s broccoli to make the broccoli kugels which will be frozen later and defrosted and heated up to serve to our guests next weekend.
