So far……… the sheep haven’t lambed. We don’t even know that they are definitely pregnant.  An eminent friend (who specialises in human reproduction) offered to carry out a Test on the sheeps’ urine but we would have to collect it!  So we wait.  The silkies are still sitting but they caused me heartache this afternoon when both left the nest boxes for over half an hour.  Eek!  The goose, so far, remains sitting in the goose house but it’s at least two more weeks of inactivity so who knows?  The tilers began work today and they are attaching battens to the rafters before the roof goes on top of all the wood and insulation. The completion of the building works seems a long way off.  However, the beautiful flowers, fruit blossom and cats calm my nerves and a delicious homegrown salad for supper is ample reward for this lady in waiting.
