Our friends and their children arrived after lunch bearing gifts of plants for the garden, homemade cakes and  a chance to sit and chat in the spring sunshine. As I stood in the kitchen making tea and coffee, a smart looking car arrived with two visitors who had been shopping in St Neots and noticed the sign to Colmworth. We were delighted to show them The Gables and hope that everyone will come back soon. (Some of you from The Suburb might recognize our second set of guests!).
