The sun shone over the fields and the country park as we set out ( with two additional walkers this week) on our weekly footpath walk.  As we headed home a line of delicate grey doves were sitting on the telephone lines to the right of our route.  We walked back across the park where, on Sunday, a tree will be planted to commemorate the First World War.  Maybe we should also plant it with the hope and prayers for an end to present wars, whilst keeping a watchful eye on the deteriorating situation in Ukraine. Hey ho!
