Joe cockerel has turned into a magnificent bird who now rules over his two hens and holds his own with every creature in the poultry pen.  Judging by his recent activity he thinks he will be ready to father some offspring in the new year!

Meanwhile Mabel, the more adventurous and active of the brother and sister cats, is enjoying exploring in the sunshine and catching field mice.
