Dear old Milton, the young bull who camped out with our cows Beattie and Lucy for a couple of months, has now had his horns removed.  The horns had gotten so long and pointy that they were endangering the other cows when they all ate from the hay manger so the vet anaesthetised him and removed the protrusions.  He is doing fine thank you although we haven’t seen him for a while.  We might not recognize him without his magnificent black horns.
