Our Israeli visitors arrived by train at Bedford station  – just for a day trip.  They have visited London several times but never before ventured into the English countryside.

The boys went into the chicken run with some trepidation but bravely stroked Joe cockerel and also found two eggs, which we will cook for lunch.

On the way from Bedford to The Gables we stopped to take photos alongside some Minion Men made of straw.  Those of a certain age will have to find out what on earth I am talking about!
