As I  sat on the hammock this morning trying to resolve my media uploading woes I saw a lifeless bird on the patio.  Not the first time that we have found small, dead birds but this one was slightly bloody.  Then out of the corner of my eye I saw some movement.  It was a little mouse who was working at the carcass with delicate nibbles and using its paws to claw at the feathers and flesh.  I managed to get some ” charming photographs” which were quite appealing because the mouse was small and attractive.  I am now going to cross my fingers and try to upload them.
