After I made green tomato chutney, my wonderful friend who has a farm in Sweden, told me

that if I leave the green tomatoes to ripen ( I imagine indoors or in the summer house) they will last until Christmas.  Don’t worry, there are still pounds and pounds of tomatoes to ripen on and off the vine …..plus several jars of delicious tangy relish.
