And our lovely hens produced a beautiful speckled egg in less than one day of living at The Gables. Clever girls.

I think that they like their spacious and well appointed homes and the free run of the orchard. They don’t yet know that they will, eventually, have to share their space with some ducks. For now they are also exploring the vacant duck house.
