On hot days the sheep and cows spend a lot of their time sitting in the shade of the large oak tree or nestling under the smaller trees around the field.  The cows enjoy some of the goose grass that I am pulling up as I weed the vegetable beds.  It’s thirsty work for us and it’s a day when animals are drinking from the plastic buckets and the water trough.

I think I would like to be a lazy cow today….sitting under a tree!
