Jeremy decided to prepare for winter by ordering a load of logs.  The supplier only sells large quantities and he delivered them and offloaded them near the garages.  We wanted them close to the house and under cover so Jeremy build a wood store and painted it and attached a roof of clear Perspex.

its a great log store but the logs needed to be moved so we persuaded Seth and Josh to abandon their pregnant wives and head off on the train to St Neots on this sunny Sunday to move the wood.  Bless them they are working so hard ( with a break for pot noodles, pasta salad and chocolate brownies and a fresh baby carrot dug up in our vegetable plot –  a strange food combo but provides fuel for the second half of the afternoon).

I think we will have enough wood for several years unless global oil supplies run dry and we need to rely on cooking on the fire!

Josh is a natural tractor driver and he can certainly come here again.  Hope we haven’t worked him too hard.
